Our client, an Investment Bank, is seeking an Entry Level Analyst in their Jersey City, NJ location:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all deliver and receive orders for equities, corporate fixed income, and commercial paper trades settling through DTC for custody accounts.
- Ensure accurate trade settlement with brokers/banks, adhering to daily deadlines.
- Verify trade information (account numbers, quantities, CUSIP, etc.) against broker presentations received via the Sonic system.
- Manage daily trade volume, reviewing and resolving discrepancies such as DTC reclaims.
- Escalate high-value or problematic trades to management for timely resolution.
- Professionally communicate with internal and external clients and counterparties via email, phone, and other channels to minimize risk and exposure.
- Provide exceptional client service and contribute to a team-based work environment.
- Assist in management reporting, including providing statistics on work volumes and other metrics.
- Identify and implement efficiencies to improve individual and team productivity.
- Contribute to division or firm-wide process improvement initiatives by understanding how specific functions impact overall operations.
