Position Overview:

The Facilities Assistant will make an impact at Old Republic by supporting our Office Services Department and assisting with essential office operations. This role’s responsibilities are primarily focused on filing documents and providing a positive customer experience by directing phone calls to the appropriate contact or department at the Company.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Route external and internal calls to the correct departments within the Company.
  • Maintain files according to Company established system.
  • Retrieve, re-file, and dispose of documents per staff requests in a timely manner.
  • Transport files to/from an off-site warehouse.
  • Data entry to prepare letters, reports, lists and other records.
  • Order office supplies and specialty products.
  • Sort and distribute office mail.
  • Process vendor invoices.
  • Assist with copying and binding business presentations.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all levels of staff from administrative to executive level.
  • Other duties as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). · Ability to do basic math.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to meet goals and deadlines with general supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible when needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
