The Director of Asset Management role is responsible for the oversight and operations of a dynamic portfolio of multifamily assets. Tegethoff Development is a luxury lifestyle developer that has developed 3,600 units since 2015. We are focused on developing what we call "a curated collection of trophy assets".


The Director of Asset Management will be involved in all properties, both during initial stages of development and design, all the way to stabilized operations. The role will be responsible for managing the turnover from Development to Operations on our projects, supervising and ensuring all operational systems are performing in portfolio assets, annual budgeting, monthly financial review, insurance/lender compliance, and more. We are looking for an individual who has a keen ability to review real estate asset performance to maximize both operational and financial efficiency. We believe this is done through strong audit and budget skills, an ability to lead 3rd party management teams, and strong communication with our internal team, lenders and investors. Tegethoff Development takes a creative approach to the real estate development business. The VP of Asset Management is a key player to execute that vision.


A qualified candidate needs to have at least 5 years of prior experience in roles involved in real estate management, asset management, finance, and accounting. Exact past role requirements are flexible and candidates will be evaluated on a case by case basis for skills and fit.


This position requires at least 4 days per week at our Indianapolis corporate office. All office and computer expenses will be covered by the company.


Salary and bonus structure will be discussed during the interview process.
