Inventory and Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory and Supply Chain Planner to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring inventory accuracy and reporting across all channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for month-end inventory alignment, analytics, and recommendations regarding product sales and discontinuation. Additionally, this role will oversee store inventory levels, manage procurement processes, and coordinate incoming shipments.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Inventory Management:

  • Ensure inventory reporting accuracy across all channels.
  • Conduct month-end inventory adjustments.
  • Analyze current inventory levels and provide recommendations for product sales and discontinuations.
  • Identify slow-moving inventory and make recommendations for removal from the website.
  • Maintain store inventory levels by pushing new product orders to stores timely.
  • Review store replenishment orders and suggest changes based on inventory availability.
  • Coordinate store inventory pulls to ensure phased-out products are not merchandised.


Supply Chain Planning:

  • Monitor the supply chain and communicate timing and quantities of incoming shipments.
  • Maintain incoming shipment documentation and address any delays in transit.
  • Coordinate shipments with brokers as needed.
  • Generate Demand Plans and Forecasts
  • Plan and purchase inventory.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with warehouse teams, store managers, and manufacturing.
  • Ensure smooth communication and operations across different departments.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Familiarity with procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics and coordination.

This role will report directly to the company owner but this person will not be a part of the leadership team. The hope is that the person who starts in this role can grow into a Supply Chain leadership position.
