We're looking for a marketing and merchandizing expert with a deep knowledge base of their target region to build brand awareness and drive consumer loyalty through unforgettable and educational experiences.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team up with Sales Team to actively support their customers through regular, scheduled contact and drive sales performance with suggestive, persuasive selling.
  • Resolve external customer and internal sales questions in a timely manner, typically by phone, email, text or other necessary means either by determining answer on own or escalating to appropriate division / regional resources or external vendors, as required.
  • Manage new customer set up process - complete all necessary internal and external forms. Organize and document all information and communicating information to internal and external parties in a timely manner.
  • Oversee internal and external pricing requests and adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge and resources to be able to answer questions regarding, but not limited to product availability, delivery schedule, broker contact and line information, product information and specification, product selection and substitutes.
  • Contact customers to highlight on-going promotions and opportunities to up-sell/cross-sell to distribute slow moving items, close-out items and special buy items.
  • Provide administrative support to Territory Managers and Sales Management to process special orders, drop-ships, re-routing delivery days, will calls, etc.
  • Assist with collating and publishing all field sales communications, including product guides, promotional calendars, execution priorities and other ad hoc information.
  • Attend department sales meetings and product trainings to develop and grow product and vendor knowledge as required.
  • Producing internal sales analysis and reports for team members to asses.
  • Support coordinating and booking tradeshow logistics as well as sales team members travel and lodging.
  • Execute sample policy to obtain samples for customers and/or Territory Managers
  • Provide vacation/back-up coverage to Territory Managers as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work on site at our local Fort Pierce, FL headquarters
  • Minimum 2 years of merchandising, sales or customer service experience is required.
  • Problem solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Builds robust and successful working relationships
  • High level of professionalism
  • Must be extremely organized, analytical and possess highly developed written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must have experience with NetSuite System and CRM platforms like SalesForce.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
