Role Description

This is a full-time position working in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. In this role you will need to be familiar with the equipment, installation, and commissioning of low voltage systems and have installation and troubleshooting experience. Responsibilities

·        Conduct installations, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting on fire sprinkler systems

·        Inspect and test fire systems to verify that such systems are installed in accordance with appropriate laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, and standards

·        Provide solutions and/or recommendations to bring systems back into code compliance

·        Understanding of codes standards related to fire sprinkler systems

·        Ensure appropriate materials are provided based on working knowledge of fire protection system repair

·        Knowledge of disabling and enabling fire alarm panels for system service

·        Respond to service calls for alarm and detection systems (may include emergency calls during non-standard working hours)

·        Maintain documentation of all work performed, complete detailed inspection reports, and document any issues

·        Execute projects on time and within allocated installation hours

·        Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors, customers, and building owners

·        Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently

 

Requirements

·        Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

·        Pass a background check and drug screen

·        Industry experience with inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems

·        Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals

·        Must have all required tools

·        Understanding of codes standards related to fire sprinkler systems

·        Conscience of job hazards and able to enforce safety policies

·        Maintain a clean and safe workspace

·        Must be extremely dependable and self-sufficient


This position requires individuals with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently. Capable of lifting heavy objects and working in physically demanding environments.
