The role demands excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of financial markets, and the ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.


This role will be on-site out of their Jacksonville, FL office. Offering a competitive base salary + bonus + benefits.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Securities Lending Operations:

- Support the day-to-day operations of the stock loan desk, including borrowing and lending activities.

- Monitor and manage stock loan transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve settlement issues with counterparties.


2. Collateral Management:

- Ensure adequate collateral is maintained for all securities lending transactions.

- Monitor collateral levels and manage margin calls as necessary.

- Work with the treasury and risk management teams to optimize collateral usage.


3. Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with stock loan transactions.

- Ensure compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.

- Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.


4. Trade Support:

- Provide support for trade execution and settlement processes.

- Coordinate with traders, operations, and back-office teams to ensure smooth trade flow.

- Manage trade confirmations and resolve any trade-related discrepancies.


5. Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock loan activities and performance.

- Conduct analysis of securities lending markets to identify trends and opportunities.

- Provide regular updates to senior management on stock loan performance and risk metrics.


6. Client and Counterparty Interaction:

- Maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants.

- Respond to inquiries from clients and counterparties regarding stock loan transactions.

- Collaborate with sales and client service teams to address client needs and issues.


7. System and Process Improvement:

- Assist in the development and enhancement of stock loan systems and processes.

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

- Participate in technology projects to improve operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

-Experience: 2-4 years of experience in securities lending, stock loan operations, or a related financial services role.


Skills:

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

- Knowledge of securities lending platforms (e.g., Loanet, EquiLend) is a plus.
