We are seeking a driven and experienced Construction Site Scheduler to join our project team. In this critical role, you will oversee the planning and scheduling of construction activities, ensuring the project is executed efficiently and meets its timelines. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, optimize resource allocation, and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate detailed construction schedules for EPC contractor activities.
  • Collaborate with site managers, construction managers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project details and assess their impact on the schedule.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions to address delays.
  • Analyze schedule adjustments to optimize timelines and resource utilization.
  • Provide regular updates on project schedules and communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate schedule performance, generating reports on status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and critical milestones.


Required Qualifications


Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling, with a preference for experience in capital EPC projects ($5M+ scale recommended).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Primavera (version 4+); Primavera Enterprise is essential.
  • Familiarity with resource-loaded schedules preferred.
  • Experience with Loadspring hosting services and Acumen Deltek (Fuse) is advantageous but not mandatory.


Analytical Skills

  • Advanced expertise in schedule analysis and forensic techniques.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Excel and Acumen to:
  • Track and illustrate shifts in activity dates, durations, float, logic, and milestone variances.


Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to ask critical questions and interpret complex information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in disciplines such as Accounting, Business, or Finance.
