Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Platform Manager to join our team working on-site in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, enhancing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our organization. This role also involves acting as a technical coach for colleagues, helping to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the ServiceNow platform, including enhancements, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Tailor the ServiceNow platform to align with the organization’s needs, continuously improving its utilization.
  3. Assess the organization’s needs and clarify visuals to accurately represent services provided.
  4. Develop and implement user adoption plans to maximize the platform’s effectiveness.
  5. Serve as a technical coach, mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices.
  6. Collaborate with technical service teams and end-users to enhance communication and problem-solving efforts.
  7. Analyze data and metrics to drive continuous improvement of ServiceNow services.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology or Computer Science, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform management.
  3. Proven experience in customer service, with a strong focus on enhancing user experience.
  4. Experience in mentoring and coaching team members.
  5. ServiceNow Certification is required.
  6. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  7. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Ability to gain and maintain a public trust clearance

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
  • Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
  • Learns and memories routine tasks.
  • Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
