Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to oversee the clinical operations of our Juvenile Probation Facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical management and healthcare regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clinical services meet the highest standards of care while adhering to agency mandated requirements.


Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for providing case management services and clinical services for juveniles who have behavioral issues that require assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Coordinates services between community health treatment providers and youth who have been referred to the Juvenile Probation Center, and/or are detained in the Juvenile Detention Center.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field with a current license as an LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with adolescents in a clinical, school, or juvenile justice setting.


Must have knowledge of all the following:

  • Professional psychological counseling
  • Developmental stages of adolescents
  • Diagnosis and medications
  • Texas Family Code
  • Texas Health and Safety Code
  • Basic individual and group counseling techniques
  • Juvenile justice system
  • Case management practices
  • Medication and behavior modification techniques
  • Social services delivery network
  • Multi-disciplinary treatment approaches and evidence-based practice


Work days & Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Note: Counseling services/crisis interventions may be necessary outside of normal working hours.
