Chief Nursing Officer

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Community Hospital is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinical services of our 25-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). As a key member of our leadership team, the CNO will ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while promoting high-quality patient care and staff satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and communicate a clear vision for nursing services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
- Oversee the management of nursing staff, including recruitment, retention, and professional development
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited university program
- MSN preferred or enrolled and progressing toward a MSN
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in a LTACH or acute care setting
- LTACH experience highly desirable
- Critical care experience preferred
