We are seeking a Junior Estimator who is a recent graduate eager to start their career in the construction industry. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills with hands-on training and mentorship. You’ll work directly with our CEO and Senior Estimator, gaining invaluable experience in both estimating and business development. This is an excellent opportunity to be trained and developed into a key leader within our company.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Estimator, you will assist in preparing cost estimates for various projects, primarily those utilizing spincast technology. You will work closely with senior estimators, project managers, and engineers in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to develop their career in construction estimating and business development. You are skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and have strong computer literacy. Your passion for learning, problem-solving, and ability to handle multiple tasks will set you up for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with construction projects
  • Knowledge or interest in spincast technology is preferred.
  • Analytical Thinker: You can analyze plans and specifications, identify potential risks, and ensure accurate cost projections.
  • Detail-oriented: You have an eye for accuracy, ensuring all project details and cost estimates are precise.
  • Computer-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other industry-specific software, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You’ll collaborate with various team members and clients, making clear, concise communication critical.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local construction codes, regulations, and industry trends is beneficial.
