Job Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and optimize complex database systems to support high-volume, high-performance applications.
  • Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable database solutions in collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Implement advanced data models, schemas, and database objects to meet system requirements and ensure data integrity.
  • Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement, including tuning databases, query optimization, and ensuring database security.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior software engineers, fostering best practices in software and database engineering.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, design solutions, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, including security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on database design, development, and optimization.
  • Strong expertise in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and database security practices.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to deployment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
