Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Certified Personal Trainer to join the SoFit team on a part-time, on-site basis. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one, personalized training sessions designed to help clients reach their unique fitness goals, from weight management and muscle building to athletic performance and body toning. Key Responsibilities

• Design & Deliver Custom Programs:

Create individualized fitness plans based on client goals, using proven training techniques and tracking progress to ensure measurable results.

• Client Onboarding & Relationship:

Building: Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions with new clients, setting clear goals, expectations, and a structured fitness plan to help them succeed from day one.

• Engage & Motivate Clients:

Provide consistent follow-ups, accountability, and encouragement to keep clients motivated and committed to their fitness journey.

• Educate on Fitness & Nutrition:

Guide clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and nutritional basics, empowering them with the knowledge to support a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

• Sales & Client Acquisition:

Make proactive sales calls to prospective clients, introducing them to SoFit's offerings, answering questions, and building connections to convert leads into clients.

• Maintain Studio Standards: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming studio atmosphere by assisting with daily upkeep and organizing equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year of personal training experience, preferably focused on one-on-one coaching.

• Expertise: Knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and high-intensity training (HIIT); experience with functional movement and heart rate-focused programs is a plus.

• Certification: Must hold a nationally accredited personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, PTA Global).

• CPR/AED: Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs and remain physically active throughout training sessions.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and communicate clearly.
