Position Title: Proposal Coordinator


Location: Houston, TX

Position Description

The Proposal Coordinator is responsible to prepare proposals in response to client invitations to bid for domestic and international projects.



Essential Functions

  • Maintain, update and report from the Proposal Database
  • Log all new RFP’s (request for proposal) into the Proposal database
  • Distribute new RFP’s to the proposal team
  • CRM application experience, preferably SalesForce
  • Review RFP’s to determine necessary proposal content that will fully respond to the RFP and coordinate proposal assemblage.
  • Determine proposal preparation schedule and be available to complete proposal submission as required.
  • Interface with other departments to obtain required proposal information
  • Organize all documents into a final proposal format
  • Arrange all reproduction, special forms, shipping, etc. of the proposal to meet proposal completion schedule.
  • Preserve all electronic files and ensure that the Business Development copy of the submitted proposal is logged and subsequently filed in the BD filing system.
  • Maintain, update and report from the Project Experience Database
  • Update and report from the ACT Contact Database



Qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in several software programs including email, database, graphics and presentation software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior proposal/business development, finance and/or accounting experience for domestic and international projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills



Education

Associates degree required. Degree preferred.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
  • Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials.
  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Demands requirements are at levels of those for sedentary work.
