We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist and Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.

Job Summary: As a Medical Receptionist and Customer Service Representative at Doctors Business Network, you will be the face and voice to our clients' practices. Your role is critical in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our prospective and enrolled clientele, as well as providing exceptional support to our healthcare providers. You will manage client interactions, follow up calls, and front-office tasks with efficiency and professionalism, contributing to the success of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Phone Interaction:
  • Ability to manage a high volume of phone calls and provide exceptional customer serviceServe as the first point of contact for our prospects and clients, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, responding to incoming inquiries, and directing calls to appropriate team members.
  • Assist clients with completing forms and documentation required.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Verify patient insurance information, process claims, and manage billing-related tasks for our clients’ practices.
  • Maintain and update patient records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules, confirming and rescheduling appointments as needed to maximize practice efficiency.
  • Ensure that the front office operations for our clients are organized, clean, and functioning smoothly.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and internal team, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
  • Provide outbound calls and emails with updates to existing clients.  
  • Provide information about services and next steps to healthcare providers. 
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with our internal team and the staff of our clients’ practices to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback to improve office procedures and enhance patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration, medical office management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist, customer service representative, in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other office software.
  • Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor, with a strong commitment to customer service.
