Responsibilities:

Supports the management of project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.

Assists both company employees and outside contractors in completion of their planning work.

Coordinate input from and participation with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project objectives.

Updates the regions mapping products, pipeline schematics and technical emergency/project material-procurement and disposition.

Assists with the reconciliation of job packages.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Requires knowledge of project management theories and concepts, engineering practices and concepts, cost analysis and ability to apply this knowledge in the daily operations of the project group.

Familiar with pipeline relocation, facility addition and modification requirements and capable of processing all required Company documents for region projects. Ability to read and understand blueprints, land development plans and Company designs.

Must possess the ability to effectively interact with various departments.

Familiar with computer software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and Data Base.

Must be able to prepare and review project budget and schedule.

Work independently and be a self-starter.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent comprised of formal education (and/or certification) and/or directly related work experience required. Science, technical, engineering or math focused, or commercial construction related education.
  • Large scale construction, engineering, and/or utility project and/or project management experience.
  • Project management work performed in context of a regulated utility industry.
  • Highly skilled in oral and written communications.
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate with peers.
  • Attention to detail.


Compensation:

$40-45/hr
