POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an ambitious Email Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As the Tickle Kitty Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in engaging our audience, driving sales, and fostering community among our subscribers. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in email marketing, a passion for graphic design, direct sales and a fan of pleasure toys. E-commerce experience with direct to consumer / B2C product sales is a huge plus.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute emails to promote product sales and educational content.
  • Plan, manage and implement an email marketing calendar.
  • Design visually appealing email graphics using Canva.
  • Build emails using Klaviyo email content builder.
  • Segment and manage email lists to target and personalize communication.
  • Develop, write and implement automated email flow sequences.
  • Monitor and analyze email performance metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness, increase conversion rates, average ticket sales and sign ups.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to align email strategies with other business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our email marketing efforts.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Canva graphic design tool.
  • Experience with Klaviyo email content builder (or similar platform).
  • Strong interest in pleasure toys and positive messaging.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging and compelling educational content and sales copy.
  • Proven ability to generate creative ideas, sales offers and promotions.
  • Experience with flow sequences that nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Results-driven with knowledge around metrics, A/B testing, KPI tracking and ROI analysis
  • Understanding of the digital marketing business ie email browser differences, desktop vs mobile production, avoiding blacklists etc.


EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in direct-to-consumer email marketing and sales
  • Basic fundamentals of HTML
