I am in search of a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Infrastructure team, which develops and maintains our global 24/7 trading platform. We require a seasoned database engineer with robust Linux system engineering expertise.


You will be pivotal in designing, constructing, and sustaining our clients' diverse production database infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and manage PostgreSQL and MySQL infrastructures to support a globally distributed trading system, extending to extensive research activities
  • Configure and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL servers for critical real-time trading workflows
  • Analyze and enhance the performance of PostgreSQL and MySQL queries and supporting infrastructure on Debian Linux
  • Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code tools and services, including Salt and Terraform


Desired Profile:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Database Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing production database infrastructures, covering aspects such as security, replication, and observability (monitoring, alerting, logging)
  • Strong familiarity with modern database technologies and their tradeoffs, including distributed databases, time-series databases, relaxed consistency models, and columnar storage
  • Extensive experience with Linux, particularly Debian
  • Significant experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
