Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Permit Specialist for our client, a leader in the solar energy industry. As a Permit Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the permit process for residential solar and battery storage installations. Your expertise will ensure that all projects comply with local regulations, allowing homeowners to access clean energy efficiently and on time. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your knowledge of construction permits and help drive the future of sustainable energy.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit documentation for residential solar and battery storage permit packages.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and project coordinators to ensure all necessary information is collected and compliant with local regulations.
- Complete necessary forms and secure all required jurisdictional and organizational approvals to meet project timelines.
- Identify and resolve issues related to permit submissions to keep projects on schedule.
- Track and manage the timelines of permit applications, ensuring timely progression of all projects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of permit applications and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in permit processing or related fields.
- Prior experience working with permitting offices.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of project management software and Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Familiarity with home construction or residential electrical systems.
