Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a diversified Middle Market C&I Portfolio, ensuring high-quality credit decisions and portfolio performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
  • Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit analyses, risk assessments, and due diligence for new and existing clients.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior portfolio managers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance portfolio performance and achieve the bank's financial objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure all portfolio activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance, trends, and projections for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking, with a focus on Commercial & Industrial lending and portfolio management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and credit risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
