Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Portfolio Lead

Job Summary:

Precision Medicine Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of project managers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, and Trello.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Biotechnology, repository, or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Familiarity with GLP, GMP, CLIA, and ISO regulatory guidelines.
