Vaco is seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to lead efforts in regulatory compliance across all facets of the organization. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive programs that ensure our organization adheres to healthcare, employment, data privacy, and other regulatory requirements, supporting Plymouth Housing's growth and integrity.

Location: Bellevue, WA
Salary Range: $50-55/Hour
Term: Contract 90+ days

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Regulatory Research & Policy Development: Conduct in-depth regulatory research and stay updated on changes, creating policies for healthcare, data privacy, and general compliance needs.
  • Compliance Program Implementation: Establish and manage compliance initiatives across departments, from healthcare to data security, including regular audits and staff training.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Work with teams to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across all organizational areas.
  • Training & Monitoring: Partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver targeted compliance training. Ensure continuous improvement through regular monitoring and audits.
  • Collaboration & Ethical Guidance: Engage with various departments to ensure consistent compliance practices and provide ethical guidance aligned with Plymouth Housing's values.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in risk assessment, auditing, and a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in regulatory compliance, with both healthcare and general compliance experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, or related field. Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
