The ANNEX is looking for a motivated and growth-mindset individual with leadership experience and a strength and conditioning background to run our new location opening in Rye, NY. This person will be responsible for running this remote location and working alongside The ANNEX leadership team to continue to grow our brand and quality of training in this new market.


Job Summary

FACILITY:

  • Manage facility and all day-to-day operations 
  • Conduct sales calls with prospective athletes and clients
  • Communicate with parents/athletes via Phone/Text/Email
  • Collect forms of payment when applicable
  • Attend weekly leadership meeting with Annex Leadership team
  • Manage personal schedule on Mindbody Online
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility 
  • When the time comes, oversee training staff and manage staff development


PERFORMANCE AND TRAINING:

  • Assess athletes and conduct intake and onboarding of new athletes
  • Develop individualized training programs based off of assessment results as well as ongoing development of athletes
  • Administer training programs with athletes on training floor
  • Instructs or coaches individuals in exercise activities


SOCIAL MEDIA AND BRANDING

  • Collect content on a daily basis
  • Post 2-3 times per week on Instagram
  • Post 2-3 stories per day on Instagram and tag respective athletes
  • All posting consistent with brand guidelines set forth by ANNEX branding and media guidelines


General Accountabilities


  • Responsible for managing day-to day operations of facility
  • Consistent communication with parents and athletes regarding billing and scheduling efforts
  • Billing and scheduling of athletes
  • Attend weekly leadership meeting with leadership team and maintain daily/weekly communication with ANNEX HQ
  • Maintain training standards amongst performance coaches
  • Conduct athlete intake and evaluation sessions with new athletes
  • Use info from Intake and Evaluations to create training programs for new athletes.
  • Communicate with performance coaches on development of athletes and the progression of athletes’ programs
  • Communicate and collect feedback from performance coaches to adapt training programs when needed
  • Evaluates individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develops suitable training programs to meet any special needs.
  • Monitors individuals' progress and adapts training programs as needed
  • Must have the ability to properly progress/regress exercise selections on the training floor based on athletes’ ability
  • Teaches and demonstrates use of training and exercise equipment.
  • Maintains a safe environment for athletes to train
  • Prioritize safety of athletes.
  • Explains and enforces safety rules and regulations
  • Must maintain facility cleanliness and organization
  • Manages social media and marketing efforts in alignment with ANNEX Branding and Media guidelines
  • Pursuing continued education and skill development at all times
  • Uphold core values and ANNEX culture

Job Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science related field
  • Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 3-5 years of related experience(preferably in-house)
  • CPR/AED Certified

Compensation Package


  • $50,000 /year salary : paid bi weekly 
  • 5% commission : paid once per month
