Overview:
A large banking organization is seeking a Trade Finance AML Specialist for a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate will have experience in trade finance operations and currently hold or aspire to move into an AML advisory role. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with AML regulations and mitigating financial crime risks within our trade finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and report suspicious trade finance transactions in accordance with AML regulations and bank policies.
- Oversee and manage trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bills of exchange, guarantees, and documentary collections.
- Collaborate with trade finance operations teams to identify and mitigate AML risks in trade finance products and services.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in trade finance operations.
- Current or recent experience in an AML role, preferably within trade finance.
- Familiarity with TBML and international trade sanctions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CTFP (Certified Trade Finance Professional) are highly desirable.
