Position Overview:

The Project Manager for Tilt-Up Concrete Construction will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of tilt-up concrete projects. This role requires a highly organized and experienced professional who can manage multiple projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure that all project objectives are met on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to understand project requirements.

Project Execution:

  • Oversee all aspects of tilt-up concrete construction, including site preparation, concrete pouring, panel erection, and finishing.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor project teams, including site supervisors, foremen, and laborers.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to update teams on progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Address any non-compliance issues promptly and effectively.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Address client concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to senior management.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on tilt-up concrete construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
