We are seeking an IT Product Manager to work alongside and assist the ~MT Newswires’~ Chief Technical Officer. The responsibilities and skills set below outline the necessary technical expertise needed for our company.    


Responsibilities 


  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, market, and technology trends to craft a compelling vision and strategy for our product line.
  • Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps to deliver on the strategic vision and goals.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle, from ideation, research, and prototyping, through to development, launch, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Communicate project progress and updates effectively to stakeholders through well-crafted presentations and reports.
  • Ensure alignment of product development with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to drive product development and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.


Technical Knowledge


  • Understanding of Windows Server 2019 and IIS.
  • Familiarity with PHP and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) and Linux administration.
  • Understanding of XML syntax and structure
  • Ability to create, read, and modify XML documents.
  • Proficiency in creating visual representations of data (e.g., charts, graphs)
  • Skills in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation.
  • Experience with data analysis programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Proficiency with data manipulation libraries.
  • Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL for querying databases.
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in data analysis.
  • Skills in integrating and merging data from multiple sources.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., ETL processes, data lakes).
  • Ability to extract and parse data from XML documents for analysis.
  • Experience in transforming XML data into formats suitable for analysis (e.g., CSV, JSON).
  • Skills in integrating XML data with databases and other data sources for comprehensive analysis.
  • Proficiency in automating data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using scripts and tools.
  • Ability to write scripts for processing and analyzing XML data


Basic Qualifications


  • Experience with developing product requirements documents and product roadmaps
  • Experience performing research, including developing a deep understanding of the customer, working with and eliciting information from diverse groups of stakeholders, and developing clear technical, actionable requirements
