Hesai LiDAR is a leading technology company specializing in LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) systems for ADAS, autonomous vehicles, and robotics applications. Our advanced LiDAR solutions empower the automotive industry and other sectors to achieve safer and more reliable autonomous navigation.


To support our rapidly expanding customer base in North America, we seek an experienced, enthusiastic, and goal-driven Senior Sales Manager to contribute to our Industrial business.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a proactive, relationship-focused sales process targeting 30-40 prospects/accounts. Drive aggressive sales goals with the support of the Regional BD Director. Build strong relationships from engineering to C-level personnel, speeding up the sales cycle from sensor evaluation to small field test deployments.
  2. Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
  3. Qualify incoming leads from Hesai’s corporate website, tradeshows, and marketing campaigns in the North American region.
  4. Use Hesai North America’s CRM to manage customer and contact information, track and log activities, and maintain revenue forecasts, including product and delivery dates.
  5. Manage a select list of existing customers, developing proactive sales engagement strategies and co-marketing support programs to increase sensor revenue each quarter.
  6. Provide logistics support to Hesai’s Digital/Event Marketing team for NAM tradeshows and industry conferences. Attend trade shows to engage with prospects and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  7. Identify and communicate new customer/prospect requirements to product management, industry manager/product marketing, and engineering teams. Be responsive to customer needs, work cross-functionally to satisfy customers, grow relationships, and maintain internal reporting/forecasting for business operations and finance teams.


Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in industrial account sales, demonstrating a results-oriented approach and strong motivation, with 5+ years of lidar experience recommended.
  2. High technical proficiency with LiDAR sensors and their real-world applications, including autonomous vehicles, smart infrastructure, and 3D mapping is preferred.
  3. Proven ability to exceed sales targets and successfully manage customer projects.
  4. Analytical and proactive, able to anticipate and address potential obstacles.
  5. Resourceful and creative in achieving goals efficiently.
  6. Results-driven with a strong work ethic and motivation to excel.
  7. Organized and diligent, maintaining regular follow-ups and managing necessary documents and tools.
  8. Professional and personable, effectively communicating with everyone from VPs to entry-level staff.
  9. Self-aware and open to feedback, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  10. Experienced in managing strategic high-level accounts with growth potential.
