General responsibilities:

-           Develop plans to include details and specifications suitable for submittal of permit applications (post construction stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, land development and NPDES).

-           Produce designs/calculations, complete plans and permit applications and coordinate with reviewing agencies.

-           Assist the project director by providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal, design, permitting and construction phases for the development of athletic facilities.

-           Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects.


Requirements:

-           Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.

-           Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

-           Professional Engineering (PE) License (preferred).

-           Experience/working knowledge of basic design principles for grading, calculation of slopes & grades, and site construction materials and methods.

-           Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

-           Ability to meet project and task deadlines as established by the project director.

-           Strong written and verbal communication skills.

-           An understanding of, and experience with, the municipal land development and NPDES permitting process.
