RETTEW, a leading engineering consulting firm, is in search of a dedicated Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our Municipal Team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional environmental design services for diverse drinking water and wastewater management projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Municipal Team to create and refine engineering designs for both public and private sector projects focused on drinking water and wastewater systems.
- Conduct thorough site evaluations and assessments to collect essential data for project development.
- Draft comprehensive technical reports, schematics, and specifications to support project execution.
- Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Engage in design teams to explore treatment solutions for biosolids, integrating renewable energy initiatives.
- Manage planning, design, and permitting processes for municipal clientele.
- Effectively present project proposals to clients and regulatory bodies.
- Foster strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout project lifecycles.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.
- EIT certification is required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
