Position Overview:

As the Accounting Manager, you will be a critical part of our operations, ensuring the financial health and compliance of our business. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting activities, manage budgets, and provide valuable financial insights to support decision-making. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with accounting standards, local regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and business performance metrics.
  • Assist with audits and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.
  • Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable.
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable tax laws.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
