Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer with a strong background in Electrical Engineering to join our team. This role will focus on programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems, with a particular emphasis on Allen Bradley, Siemens S7, and Siemens PLC systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and high performance of our equipment across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC programs, primarily using Allen Bradley and Siemens S7 systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, and associated control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of automated systems.
  • Perform electrical design and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams and production staff.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and recommend improvements for system reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with PLC programming (specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens S7).
  • Proficient in Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, PROFINET).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and installations.
