Job Title: Founding Sales Manager
Company Overview:
Food Truck Club is a dynamic startup revolutionizing the corporate catering industry through the use of food trucks. Over the past couple of years, we’ve developed a robust platform for customers and food trucks, fed over 50,000 people, and have become the leading mobile corporate catering solution in a major market. With our processes in place and a strong operational foundation, we’re now on the hunt for a strong Sales Director to close sales and drive revenue.
Overview of the Position:
More and more leads are coming in every day from interested customers wanting to know more about our services in the form of email, online chats, paid ads, etc…. We expect this role to be aggressive with these inbound leads by responding rapidly and converting them into paying customers. We are equally looking for someone to drive outbound sales through targeted efforts. We know our target customers well and will guide you on where they are and how to reach them.
The majority of the work will be remote, but on various occasions it will be required to meet with customers within the Houston, TX metroplex.
We are looking for someone with serious grit, tenacity, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This is a startup, not a cushy corporate job. Please don’t apply if you’re looking for an easy way to make cash. We need someone willing to work… hard. As is customary with startups, your runway will be short and bumpy. We will provide all the supports you need, but ultimately, we need this person to drive tangible results quickly.
What You'll Do (in a nutshell):
Manage and respond to leads from various marketing channels
Meet in person and virtually with prospective clients
Engage with and nurture our key customers to drive additional business
Drive new business by engaging with former customers and target audiences
Look for and suggest new and improved ways of capturing revenue

In addition to proven sales skills, our perfect candidate is someone that’s intrinsically motivated and driven to earn their place in a startup. We want someone with a chip on their shoulder and with something to prove. Compensation:
The role begins with a base salary of $60K/year, with an unlimited bonus potential but OTE's likely to be around $100K. This is a 1099 role with no benefits.
As you drive revenue and contribute to our success, we are committed to regularly reviewing and renegotiating your compensation to include higher pay and potential equity in our business.
