Job Summary: The Conventional CNC Setup/Operator sets up and operates all standard product offerings without assistance or supervision, resolving all issues independently. Supervision or assistance is required only for new or complicated parts. This role is part of our in-house manufacturing team, specializing in the production of high-quality precision components for various industries.
- Morning Shift- 8 hours- Overtime available
Machine Operation and Setup:
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Load and unload castings and raw materials safely.
- Affix and adjust collets and work-holding devices.
- Install and unload cutting tools.
- Touch off tooling and make offset adjustments.
- Make simple program edits.
- Hand off the machine to a machine operator, ensuring quality and company standards.
- Operate machines to maintain production and quality standards.
- Recognize, deploy, and use inserts, fixtures, and tooling correctly.
- Perform tool wear offsets.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- DMG Mori/Celos Control experience a plus but not required
- Proficient with trade tools and equipment.
- Familiar with materials and measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins.
- Knowledgeable about safe CNC machining operations methods and techniques.
