Job Summary:
The Surgical Coordinator position at Waring Vision Institute is pivotal in providing consultative support between surgeons and patients. As a Surgical Coordinator, you will facilitate treatment plans outlined by physicians, manage patient expectations, discuss financial aspects, and coordinate surgical scheduling.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Deliver exceptional patient service with professionalism and office etiquette.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and drive results.
- Collaborate with the Executive Committee to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Present treatment plans to patients with clarity and professionalism.
- Discuss and outline practice financing options.
- Utilize sales tactics to recommend optimal treatment solutions.
- Manage client relationships and interactions using a CRM program.
- Review pre and post-operative instructions thoroughly with patients.
- Assist patients with scheduling surgeries.
- Respond promptly to all internal and external communications within 24-48 hours, as per urgency.
- Proficiently utilize office software for efficient operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales-oriented role.
- Eligibility for employment in the United States.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5 years).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated sales and closing skills.
- Experience with client relationship management (CRM) programs preferred.
