We are in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our thriving, advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care as an integral member of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including initiating IVs, taking health histories, and conducting physical assessments.
- Assist the surgeon during various procedures such as wisdom tooth extractions, jaw reconstructions, and facial trauma surgeries.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Evaluate patient health through thorough interviews and physical examinations, particularly in the post-operative phase.
- Provide patients with clear information regarding their diagnoses and treatment objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Current CPR and ACLS certification.
- Proven ability to establish rapport with patients.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
Our practice is committed to a patient-centered approach. This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
