  • Create sophisticated monitoring constructs, such as synthetic transactions.
  • Perform regular audits of monitoring software.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.

Minimum Requirements / Preferences

  • Systems Monitoring Administration
  • SolarWinds
  • Nagios
  • Experience with monitoring SQL Server or some other RDBMS
  • Experience with VMware cloud deployments
  • Knowledge with common protocols: SSH, SMTP, SFTP, FTP, IMAP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, TCP, UDP
  • 2-year degree with a technical major or equivalent experience preferred
