Job Summary

The marketing team’s mission is to drive growth in 3 vectors: brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer lifetime value. As CMO you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our digital, national & local initiatives. You will be a beacon of growth helping us capture the global category leader position. You will be responsible for brand, social presence, and all things organic growth.


This role requires a fast paced, knowledgeable marketer capable of managing all marketing functions and making decisions by leveraging data and insights. You will lead a team in an ultra-fast paced environment.


Who is the right person for this role


Reporting to the CEO, you have proven you can bring to life a founder’s vision through content, brand messaging and social presence. You have a proven track record of scaling revenue and social media accounts, by overseeing all aspects of marketing and helping organizations bring their vision to market and optimize customer acquisition and lifetime value strategies.


You are a player coach, who can build the infrastructure and manage the team to drive business outcomes. You will work hand in hand with the VP of Growth, and Franchise Performance & Corporate studio Directors.


What you will do:


Brand Management:

  • Co-Develop with the CEO and execute a comprehensive brand strategy and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints, including digital and physical channels
  • Lead the development of brand guidelines and ensure adherence across the franchise system
  • Build SWTHZ into the leading social media wellness channels


Content Marketing & Communications:

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content across all platforms, including blogs, social media, email, and owned media
  • Develop content strategies that will create a cult like member following
  • Leverage data and analytics to refine content strategies and improve performance


Organic Growth and Community Building:

  • Lead efforts to grow the company’s presence on social media through organic engagement, partnerships, and influencer collaborations
  • Drive organic growth initiatives, including SEO, content marketing, social media and community involvement
  • Oversee all things UI and content for the website & SEO Optimization


Events:

  • Oversee the grassroots marketing efforts nationally
  • Develop and launch the national events & activations team (SWTHZ Tesla Cybertruck annual tour)


Franchise Support:

  • Ensure franchisees receive support to drive their local marketing efforts. This includes overseeing the creation and updating of the basic marketing toolkit, and creation process of localized needs for each franchise group
  • Co-manage the marketing brand fund with the COO and CEO


Other:

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of organic growth initiatives, using data to guide decision-making and optimize strategies.
  • Oversee public relations strategies, including media relations & press releases (when applicable)
  • Mange the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support key initiatives


What does success look like:

  • Rapid increase in social following, and online brand engagement, which translates to trials
  • Top ranking for all things SEO in local SWTHZ markets
  • Building a constant flow of content to be deployed through owned media channels
  • Increasing member engagement online and in studio, through digital member engagement initiatives


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a senior marketing leadership role for DTC brands
  • 10+ years of marketing experience
  • Ability to demonstrate social media accounts (IG and TikTok) you have grown through your leadership
  • Expert-level knowledge in all things digital: website optimization, SEO, content & social media marketing
  • Deep understanding of storytelling, brand building and content creation
  • Strong analytics skills and knowledge in driving organic traffic to paying customers
