Responsibilities:

  • Review monthly activity reports for accuracy and prepare the monthly invoices with supporting documents.
  • Assist with monthly project reconciliations, account analysis, and journal entry preparations.
  • Reconcile, analyze & review general ledger accounts
  • Support ad hoc corporate ledger requests & technical accounting projects
  • Identify & execute continuous improvement opportunities; work with internal & external auditors to provide analyses and documentation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary financial reports to program managers for review.
  • Support and prepare various account reconciliations.
  • Annual 1099 preparation/submission


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills, oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills along with a strong sense of time management and problem-solving abilities.
