Job Title: Community Partnership Specialist – Rhode Island and Eastern Connecticut


Job Summary: The Community Partnership Specialist is responsible for assisting and placing individuals in Assisted Living Facilities, or other paid placement communities, in the geographic territories associated with our Rhode Island Assisted Living Locators franchises.


The Community Partnership Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and evaluating the methods by which they generate, and convert, placement-eligible leads.


The Community Partnership Specialist is also required to establish and document all referral relationships and lead generating relationships to share with management on a monthly basis.


The Community Partnership Specialist will work towards the larger goal of expanding our reach, reputation, and brand in a manner consistent with the ongoing efforts to integrate our home care services, care management services, and now, our Assisted Living Placement services.


The ideal Community Partnership Specialists is someone with deep industry experience and numerous contacts throughout the industry – from adult day health centers to high end concierge elder law attorneys. The person in this role would possess the ability to engage prospective clients and provide education on our numerous services. This individual would be focused on Assisted Living Locators, TUCKed In ElderCare Care Management services, Best of Care, and Moving Mentor. The person in this role would be willing to travel across territory and promote the entire organization and its family of companies. The role would consist of networking with relevant referral sources, planning/facilitating educational and community events, and making email/telephone/LinkedIn and in-person connections with the goal of establishing recurring revenue streams and contributing to overall company growth.   




Job Responsibilities:


  1. Represent Assisted Living Locators, Best of Care’s family of companies and Kevin Smith professionally, responsibly, respectfully, and thoughtfully during any form of interaction (internal, external, written word, spoken word, in public, etc.)
  2. Prioritize the successful placement of any individual seeking residence in an Assisted Living Community
  3. Create a marketing and networking strategy centered around lead-generating opportunities and relationships.
  4. This strategy should be fluid, updated as needed, and adjusted based on successful techniques
  5. Make referrals to Best of Care’s private home care division
  6. Make referrals to Best of Care’s care management division, TUCKed In Eldercare
  7. Make referrals to Best of Care’s move management division – Moving Mentor
  8. Utilize the ALL-IN Assisted Living Locators proprietary CRM tool in accordance with Assisted Living Locators policy and procedure
  9. Carefully document monthly activities in the form of a standard report to share with designated company staff including but not limited to Kevin Smith, CEO; Faye English, VP of Operations; Erin Lynch, Director of Care Management; Leah Kerr, Director of Finance; Mary Virnelli, Billing Manager, Cara Kelley; Community Partnership Specialist - Greater Boston, Katie Krupka; Director of Placement and Aging Services – Western MA and Northern CT
  10. This team will provide wrap-around infrastructural support to help you gain company knowledge, industry expertise, and an understanding of internal operations.
  11. Function independently as if you specifically are the Assisted Living Locators franchisee



Qualifications:

·       Experience in the assisted living industry, sales industry, aging industry, or other related fields associated with assisting older adults

·       Experience as a certified Care Manager (Aging Life Care Professional aka Geriatric Care Manager)

·       Able to manage time appropriately

·       Always communicate and behave professionally

·       Bachelor’s Degree

·       Able to work without daily supervision or oversight – must function independently and be self-motivated
