Job Overview

The Providence Community Health Centers, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Oral Health Specialist to join our dental care team.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient dental conditions and needs, utilizing PCHC-established dental hygiene protocols and procedures.
  • Deliver direct patient care as assigned, performing routine treatment procedures such as cleanings, polishing, x-rays, and related services.
  • Develop and implement individualized dental care plans for patients, conducting patient education, discharge planning, and family teaching under the supervision of a qualified dentist.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Dental Hygiene.
  • Active Local Anesthesia Licensure.
  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a community ambulatory dental clinic environment, emphasizing Public Health strongly preferred.
