Position Summary: The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting customer demands. This role requires a leader who can drive operational excellence, foster a safe and productive work environment, and contribute to the strategic goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations including tube rolling mills, cutting, quality control, and shipping. Ensure processes are efficient and aligned with production goals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of supervisors and staff. Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality standards. Work closely with the quality team to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the company President and other leaders to develop and execute strategies for growth and improvement.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control operational costs. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain strong relationships with sales and quality teams to ensure customer needs are met. Support an industry-specific approach to customer service.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of steel tubing manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
