We are seeking an Operations Systems Manager to play a crucial role in optimizing our homebuilding processes and driving operational excellence. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements to our construction and production processes, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the Director of Operations Systems to standardize, document workflows, and train divisional personnel.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies as appropriate.
- Work closely with Division teams, including construction, sales, design, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.
- Monitor and report on the progress of process improvement initiatives, making necessary adjustments to ensure success.
- Facilitate training and workshops to educate team members on new processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in process improvement and homebuilding, incorporating new ideas into our operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in homebuilding
- Demonstrated understanding of residential construction techniques
- Meet deadlines without compromising quality or productivity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Experience with construction management software (BuildPro) and JD Edwards is a plus
- Ability to apply Theory of Constraints, Critical Chain Theory, and Lean principles to projects

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Division teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage large volume of data
