About the Job:
The incumbent will assist the Director of Accounting of Physician Finance in overseeing the accounting team with daily supervision and general direction. The Accounting Manager is responsible for completing accounting tasks, along with the oversight of financial operations for the Physician Practices at Elliot Medical Group (EMG) and Foundation Medical Partners (FMP), adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
What You’ll Do:
- Provide leadership by delegating tasks, reviewing, and providing feedback on the work of others, responding to staff inquiries, and providing overall direction to the employees on the accounting team. Ensure that the work environment promotes teamwork, collaboration, personal accountability, and adherence to best practice standards
- Record and maintain detailed schedules and analysis of all balance sheet accounts monthly
- Manage the month-end closing while also ensuring that the monthly and annual financial reporting packages are produced on time and accurately
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a closely related field, Required
- A minimum of five-seven years of accounting experience, Required
- Workday experience, Preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Required
- Excellent communication skills
