Job Description:
- Marketing & Communications team is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for creating high quality responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- You will collaborate with Cross Functional Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the delivery of compelling and accurate proposals that align with client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire proposal development process, from initial concept to final submission.
- Work closely with Cross Functional Leads and SMEs to collect necessary information, such as project details, client requirements, and technical specifications.
- Effectively manage against deadlines by owning overall progress and completion of the RFP, clearly communicating deadlines to key stakeholders, and escalating any barriers which put timely RFP completion at-risk.
Experience:
- Healthcare industry RFP experience, preferably with medical devices
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and persuasive proposals.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documents.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Cross Functional Leads and SMEs
- Strong research skills to gather relevant information and insights from various sources.
- Ability to adapt and respond to feedback, continuously improving proposal content.
- Familiarity with marketing and advertising industry trends, practices, and terminology.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and proposal management software.
Skills:
- Oversee the entire proposal development process, from initial concept to final submission.
- Tailor proposals to meet specific client requirements and highlight client’s capabilities and unique selling points.
- Draft, edit, and format proposals, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
- Maintain an organized repository of all proposals, RFPs and RFIs, including templates, past proposals, and supporting documents.
- Ensure all documents are up-to-date, properly versioned, and easily accessible for future reference.
- Work closely with Cross Functional Leads and SMEs to collect necessary information, such as project details, client requirements, and technical specifications.
- Effectively manage against deadlines by owning overall progress and completion of the RFP, clearly communicating deadlines to key stakeholders, and escalating any barriers which put timely RFP completion at-risk.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
