Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Director of Sales - Industrial/Capital Product Sales position. This position is a contract to direct hire opportunity and will be on-site in Maitland/Orlando area. Summary


The Industrial Product Representative will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the purchasing process. You'll be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. For this role, you be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, such as email campaigns and pricing strategies. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position, promote, and sell our products.


What You'll Do:

  • Be aware of the internal and external competition from local and national companies who work in similar areas and keep up to date with the overall economic landscape.
  • Look for expansion opportunities, like new customers, markets and industry developments. Take advantage of possible opportunities that can occur to advance the company.
  • Contribute to the sales area of the business to add to profitability.
  • Take part in the sales department's team meetings that create the overall vision of the company.
  • Involve other departments to work towards a specific goal each year.
  • Research customer segments, clients and strategies to increase qualified leads.
  • Review reports that document current and projected metrics and market conditions.
  • Track sales campaigns to identify growth, challenges and risks.
  • Optimize product definition around both company products and services.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with tight time lines, and the ability to multi-task and work with various departments.

  • Form strategic product marketing plans through market research, competitive analysis, and business planning.
  • Explain the benefits and functions of products and how to use them to achieve the best results.
  • Accept and process orders.
  • Handle customer's issues and questions promptly.
  • Analyze product requirements and emerging technology trends.
  • Construct customer value propositions, working as a cross-functional team with all members of the sales team and manufacturing.
  • Define functional specifications, price, value packages and cost targets.


Qualified candidates would have the following:


  • Potential candidates must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Possess at least 8 + Years of experience in sales of capital products and product marketing.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
