Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools such as Proofpoint, Abnormal, Umbrella, and SentinelOne to protect the organization from cyber threats.
  • Monitor security systems for anomalies and coordinate with the SOC to address potential security incidents.
  • Develop and update security policies and procedures to align with best practices and organizational requirements.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance security infrastructure and incident response capabilities.
  • Provide expert guidance during the investigation and resolution of security breaches.
  • Lead the development and delivery of security awareness training programs.
  • Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
  • Generate regular reports on the cybersecurity environment for IT management.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft systems.
  • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation.
  • Work closely with team members to resolve technical issues and perform routine tasks such as monitoring, server management, Active Directory administration, software installation, and imaging.
  • Manage configurations in both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Assist with forecasting and managing server technologies and growth, including disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts from mail security systems and EDR systems.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation for configurations, operating procedures, and service records.
  • Troubleshoot Windows networks, storage, applications, and hyper-converged platforms.
  • Collaborate with external managed service providers.
  • Participate in technical planning meetings.
  • Coordinate tasks to ensure resources are unified for specific operations.
  • Communicate professionally and timely with users, teams, and management.
  • Set and meet deadlines for tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with security tools such as Proofpoint, Umbrella, SentinelOne, and Abnormal.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, incident management, and response protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and experience in securing cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure).
  • Strong Windows knowledge and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is appreciated, but practical, hands-on experience is highly valued.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security administration, Windows System Administration, or related roles.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of the O365 platform, Azure Stack HCI, and/or Hyper-V Systems.
  • Understanding of Privilege Access Management and administration.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for security systems, procedures, and incident response plans.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for task automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
  • Strong incident response and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and staying ahead of cybersecurity trends.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
