Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Residential Custom Homebuilding Estimator located in Brentwood, TN. As a Residential Custom Homebuilding Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the costs of custom homebuilding projects. You will collaborate with the project management team to review plans, specifications, and other project documents to accurately determine the scope of work and prepare detailed cost estimates. You will also communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather pricing information and ensure accurate and competitive estimates. Additionally, you will monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide ongoing support to the project team.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in residential construction estimating
  • Thorough understanding of construction plans, specifications, and building codes
  • Proficiency in construction cost estimating software
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of residential construction materials and methods
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)
