Summary:

Responsible for building, repairing, and overhauling manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures. Assist engineers, production, and manufacturing managers with repairs, building maintenance, and special projects.


Primary Duties:

  • Collaborate with production leaders to start machines, inspect parts, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Install or replace machines or parts with the design team.
  • Build custom production equipment using off-the-shelf pieces.
  • Perform repair work from blueprints and manuals.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols, including lockout-tagout regulations.
  • Maintain stock of materials and equipment.
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Technical degree or 4-year engineering degree preferred.
  • Proficient with tools, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including PLCs.
  • Experience with robotics and automation programming.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good attendance and dependability.
  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
