Type of Employment: Temporary to Permanent
In Office/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid, In office on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Hourly Rate: $28-32/hr based on years of experience
Job Summary:
LHH is working with a manufacturing company in Iselin, NJ that is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with an hour lunch (some flex to start earlier if needed). This role will be hybrid with 2 days in office, Tuesdays and Thursdays. At least 3 years of corporate administrative experience is required along with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The qualified candidate will be an independent worker, have experience using a database that has steps to its processes, and a forward thinker.

Responsibilities:
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks
- Provide the HR team with travel documents, visas, and arrangements
- Coordinate department events, logistics, catering and budgets
- Onboarding new hires into the HRIS
- Complete background checks and reference checks
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure new hire information is received properly
- Input transactions into HRIS including title changes, salary changes, bonus information, etc.
- Manage employee files
- Assist with any project support as it arises
Required Qualifications:
- school diploma
- least 3 years of corporate administrative experience
- use of an ERP or HRIS, Taleo and/or Oracle experience a plus
- to work independently and still get work done efficiently
- to think a few steps ahead
- detail oriented
- in MS Office Suite with a focus on Excel
- written and verbal communication skills
